Prom 2016

This is my first post in some time. I've added some pictures of what I have been doing. The first is my oldest granddaughter. This is her senior picture. She is now a freshman in college. I don't know where the years have gone. The second is one of her vacation last summer. She is a great fan of the Little House series and she visited Walnut Grove and  anything close to it.

The latest craft I have been working on is fairy gardens these are just a few. I have several around the yard.

The last is a new CKAL from  Melody's mystery KAL this is the first clue for the toddler and large size.

I keep telling myself it's a new year and I'll post more take more pictures and of course get organized. It's not that I haven't done anything since July it is that everything gets done at the last minute. The gifts for Christmas I was still working on Christmas Eve day so no pictures. The cards were  done just in time for the mail man so no pics, although I'm  thinking there might be one still around to get scanned into the computer.

One of the reasons for not posting is that it is cold in my craft room. Unheated basement. I keep thinking I should move the computer and scanner to a warmer spot but I use it so much when I craft that I hate to have two floors to travel between my craft room and computer.. This is my lap top I'm using now but it is old and is having its problems so I don't have it attached to any printers or scanners.

I vow to do better this coming year. My DH is retired now so even if he can't find work at least some money is coming in. I am still working part time so I think the bills are all being covered but things are slim. I really want to join some swaps this year. I love Tim Holtz and would love some of his new stuff but it's not in the cards right now.

It's now 6 oclock in the morning. I took the rest of the week off and now I can't sleep. No alarm clock and am up in the o-dark hundred. I see a nap in my future.

I went to my craft room to clean this morning, I was down to the size of a greeting on my work space.I got one counter clean when I started to put away some beading supplies and as you can see this is what I did the rest of the day. Polymer clay bead and nature pearls.
