another first
This pair of baby socks was what restarted my knitting hobby I hadn't knitted for years I was always a crocheter but I didn't' like crocheted socks so when Kim opened her yarn shop and I found out she gave lessons I signed up and have been knitting daily since. Kim's shop is in her home and she also has knit-ins whenever she can. There is a fiber festival coming up on September 29th and she is way to busy to have weekly knit-ins. This fest is the first (another first for me) for Perry County, Ohio and we have 67 vendors signed up.

current project on the needle

my current scarf was supposed to be a stole. Had to frog it when I realized I didn't buy enough yarn. When I went back to the "Yarn Loft" Kim didn't have any more of the same color. oh well, I like scarves.

home-made knitting needles

made with polymer clay and dowel rods these needles were made for a knit-in I'm trying to start at my local library. I bring left-over yarn and extra needles for anyone that justs drops in.

knitting projects

Cristi came home today and I told her I was having trouble getting my pictures on my blog and she showed me how with only a couple of clicks. Lets see if I can do it on my own.
